Information materials for integration programmes
The Federal Office provides information via flyers and brochures on the advisory and integration services available for immigrants.
You can only make use of the opportunities available to you if you know what they are. Against this backdrop, one of the important tasks of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) lies in the provision of information on integration programmes.
The BAMF produces the following, amongst others:
- brochures
- leaflets
- year books
- posters
- web advertising.
Information and motivation
Appropriately targeted information gives immigrants quick and easy access to integration programmes. It motivates them to take up these offers and helps them to find their bearings in everyday life in Germany.
Information for stakeholders, citizens and decision-makers
The BAMF's information materials are not only aimed at immigrants but also at stakeholders in immigration work and political decision-makers. The aim is also to address the host society and to raise awareness of the subject of integration.
Comprehensive information in many languages
The core item of the integration programme is the "Welcome to Germany – initial information for immigrants" brochure, which is designed to include basic information for new immigrants that will be useful during their first few weeks in Germany. This is supplemented by a large array of leaflets about different advice and support programmes. These leaflets are available from the BAMF in many different languages.
The Federal Office's "Citizens' Advice Service for Integration" is also available for further questions about integration courses and all issues concerning integration and migration.
