European Integration Fund (EIF)

The European Integration Fund (EIF) was set up in 2007 by the European Union. The implementation, administration and management of the fund in Germany falls into the area of responsibility held by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees.

The EIF funds projects that support the integration of people from third countries into European society - starting with measures that introduce a process of integration during the acceptance procedure to integration projects focusing on linguistic skills and joining the labour market.

Over the following pages we provide detailed information about the European Refugee Fund and the respective services offered by the Federal Office. There are also descriptions and illustrations of the projects which have received funding.
