The migration reports deal with migratory events in Germany, and provide a comprehensive overview of annual developments in immigration and emigration.

The research reports serve to publish results from the larger research projects of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees.

The working papers contain articles from researchers within the research group who present interim results from larger ongoing projects or results of smaller, isolated studies.

Expert reports are contracted out to external researchers by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees where appropriate for the fulfilment of its remit. Moreover, scientific contributions are compiled as part of research activities in the Federal Office (internships, work experience programs, study visits). The expert reports and contributions solely express the opinion of the author.
