4 November 2016 Resettlement as a tool of protection

Resettlement programmes and humanitarian admission were discussed at the EMN Conference in Stockholm. Two integration workers from the Swedish municipality of Åre showed how persons entitled to protection can be successfully integrated.

The Federal Office has been informed that individuals are once more being threatened by anonymous callers. The callers claim to be employees of the Federal Office and threaten deportation unless a specific sum of money is paid.

23 July 2015 More decisions than in all of 2014

As of today, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees has made more decisions on asylum applications this year than in all of last year. The Federal Office decided on a total of 128,911 cases in 2014.
