Based on recent experience, we would like to point out that institutions that charge a fee for advice about project support from BAMF are not authorised by BAMF.

Funding year 2012

In 2012, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) will be supporting approximately 50 community-based projects in the following areas of activity:

  • strengthening self-awareness and self-development in people with an immigration background,
  • supporting inter-religious dialogue
  • supporting social cohesion by establishing a welcoming culture
  • supporting the contribution of immigrant-run organisations to strengthen integration and social cohesion at local level
  • intercultural openness

In addition, there is the opportunity to apply for support funds for one- to three-day multiplier training sessions to bring organisations involved in the area of integration up to a professional level. The funds available are approximately € 5,000.
