Funding year 2012
In 2012, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) will be supporting approximately 50 community-based projects in the following areas of activity:
- strengthening self-awareness and self-development in people with an immigration background,
- supporting inter-religious dialogue
- supporting social cohesion by establishing a welcoming culture
- supporting the contribution of immigrant-run organisations to strengthen integration and social cohesion at local level
- intercultural openness
In addition, there is the opportunity to apply for support funds for one- to three-day multiplier training sessions to bring organisations involved in the area of integration up to a professional level. The funds available are approximately € 5,000.
