Combined projects are projects and measures that are tailored in their design to the integration course or build on the content and objectives of integration courses.
Tailored to specific target groups
In order to fulfil individual integration needs, the combined projects should be specifically tailored to the target groups and agreed with the respective target groups. Target groups are, for example:
- immigrants with literacy needs
- women
- young people up to 27 years old who are no longer obliged to attend school
Connecting with the integration course
In combined projects, tried-and-tested and newly designed measures can be linked with the integration course. This means the supplementary measure to the integration course can either be preparatory to, be used in conjunction with, or build on the integration course.
Staff in the regional offices of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees will be pleased to help you to look for suitable combined projects, establish contact with the offices responsible or initiate new projects.
