The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees funds short-term training for multipliers to allow voluntary workers to become further qualified in the area of integration work.
Many immigrant women speak only a little German. The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees supports their integration by providing seminars for foreign women and girls – and Muslim women and girls in particular.
In addition to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, the Federal Ministry of the Interior also supports projects for foreign nationals. Important factors are their innovative nature, nationwide effect and good public relations work.
The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees funds the "Identity and Integration PLUS" programme. Building on the integration course, it deals with the situations and needs of ethnic German resettlers.

There are limited funds available to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees for co-financing projects of the European Integration Fund (EIF). Funds for co-financing EIF projects in the "Integration through civic participation" area may be applied for as well as for intercultural dialogue and pre-integration work.
