Rights and responsibilities on the integration course
Rights
First you have the right to choose a course provider in your area. Once you have registered for a course, the course provider must provide confirmation of the planned start date. The course should start within three months of the date of your registration. The course provider must let you know if no course is due to start within these three months.
During the course, you have a right to:
- regular lessons
- well-trained teachers
- well-equipped classrooms
You also have the right to receive an attendance certificate if you attend lessons regularly.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include attending and participating in lessons in a proper manner. This means that you should attend lessons regularly and sit the final test.

You must also pay a contribution to costs before the course module starts unless you are exempt from paying costs. If you do not come to classes you must nevertheless pay for the current course module.
You must always submit the application for exemption from costs before the integration course starts. If you submit the application once the course module has started, you can only be exempted from the costs with effect from the following course module.
