New service providers at ERIN

Date 1 August 2018

The ERIN European reintegration programme will be working with new service providers in the countries of origin from 1 August 2018 onwards. These were taken on in April 2018 as part of an ERIN call for tender.

IRARA (International Returns and Reintegration Assistance), Caritas, ETTC (European Technology and Training Centre) and WELDO (Women Empowerment Literacy and Development Organization), amongst others, have qualified as service providers in the countries of origin in which ERIN offers support in reintegration. Reintegration assistance will also be provided by the ERIN programme for the first time in Ghana, in cooperation with Caritas International.

With the entry into force of the new contracts as per 1 August 2018, comprehensive reintegration support can also be offered once more for the following countries where there have been delays in ERIN support:

  • Bangladesh,
  • India,
  • Central Iraq,
  • Morocco,
  • Nigeria,
  • Sri Lanka, and
  • Ukraine.

The search for a suitable service provider has not yet been completed in Côte d’Ivoire, Iran, Senegal, Sudan and Somaliland. The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees naturally accepts applications independently of this.
