Chronical of the Federal Office and of its office building in Nuremberg

The Federal Office has been subject to constant change during the more than 50 years of its history. This is the story of the Office from the "Federal Bureau for the Recognition of Foreign Refugees" via the "Federal Office for the Recognition of Foreign Refugees" to the "Federal Office for Migration and Refugees".

Its office building in Nuremberg has also had a turbulent history, which has been described in a book
