Country-specific documentation
Link list
The country-specific documentation obtains and collects information in German and other languages on the countries of origin relating to asylum, migration, integration and assisted return, and makes the information available.
The information includes for instance
- country-specific information and analyses from Federal Office and other asylum authorities, as well as from the European Union,
- reports and statements from experts, Universities and human rights organisations,
- reports from humanitarian organisation, and
- situation reports and official information from the Federal Foreign Office.
All the information – anonymised where necessary – is posted as full text in the MILo database. Large numbers of documents can also be freely accessed via the "Guest access" in MILo function.
Legal documentation
The legal documentation makes recent court rulings available to the public. The legal documentation collects and presents court rulings on asylum, residence and migration. The focus here is on rulings from German administrative courts on the law on asylum and refugees.
Court rulings that are worth documenting are anonymised. A short statement is added, and the full wording of the ruling is posted in the database MILo. Interested parties may use this service from the Federal Office via the MILo guest access that is provided.
