Table of contents

The table of contents displays the basic structure of the website www.bamf.de. Clicking on the respective links takes you directly to the corresponding page.

Changing the font size

You can configure the font size individually according to your viewing habits in the browser. For Internet Explorer, click on the menu item "View", then "Text size" and select an option. In Firefox, click on the menu item "View" and then on "Zoom", and you can change the font size with "Zoom in" or "Zoom out".

Language change

Words that are not listed in the Duden "German Universal Dictionary" are marked with a corresponding language label. This makes it possible for a reading program to choose the correct pronunciation, for example.

PDF documents

To read documents in Portable Document Format (PDF), you need a pdf reader.

We have been offering accessible PDFs since May 2009. All accessible PDFs are marked with a notice (accessible). If you would like to have an older PDF document or publication made accessible, please contact us. (Keyword: PDF accessible).

A few documents are not accessible for various reasons, such as content that changes weekly, unsupported foreign languages, or content with very extensive statistical and tabular data. They are marked accordingly.
