EMN Inform: Access to legal remedies for international protection applicants ,
The EMN Inform provides an overview of how EMN Member States organise first-instance appeals procedures in international protection procedures. Its aim is to provide comparable information on the current organisation of first-instance procedures in order to support the implementation of the new provisions under the EU Migration and Asylum Pact.
Based on responses from 22 EMN Member States, the Inform describes the different approaches to organising first-instance appeal procedures between 2018 and 2024. It covers appeals in regular, accelerated, admissibility and border procedures.
