This EMN Inform provides a short overview of the main results of the study "Satisfying Labour Demand through Migration" with contributions from 23 EU member states.

The key message is that member states should not consider labour migration to be the most important solution for an aging society, declining populations and shortage of skilled workers. Nevertheless, well-managed integration could have positive consequences.
