The logo of the BAMF is placed in a large circle. It stands for all the current areas of the BAMF. A smaller circle can be seen on the left below the logo, standing for the points of contact to asylum seekers and citizens and correspondence by letter and data transfer between them and the BAMF. A medium-sized circle is placed in the foreground, standing for the overarching organisation, as well as for the authority’s overarching processes. These are broken down into a five-piece pie-chart: Support for integration, Identity management, Court proceedings, The Dublin procedure and Processing asylum applications. A fourth, small circle on the right below the BAMF logo shows the current and new interfaces with other public authorities at national and international level. This lists the national authorities, the Federation, the Länder and municipalities, as well as the international authorities, and the national authorities of other EU States.
